Hello Everybody, Been a while. Well I'm well on my way with my contest prep fro the Masters Nationals!! Giving it a go one more time in July! Now when i'm dieting I get foody ideas running through my brain, so now I'm working on a different kind of cookie. It's going to be a cross between a cookie and a bread because I'm thinking bananas, and that leads to bread, but not really a cookie. I'm going to give it a shot and work on a recipe for this and call it my Banana Brookie!! ;>) corny but that's me! I'll try it with walnuts and without. Let me know what you think!! Just had to post this today, it will be in my cookie crumber section. I had a customers order that had to be forwarded to her new address and the box was left outside. Well some critter came an crunched the cookies!!! Or "Munched the Morsels' LOL!! See the animals even love my cookies!!! Tags: |

A new week and if you fell off the wagon of trying to lose weigh,t just get right back on that ol thing!! I'm right there with you as I'm getting ready for my 25th of competing in bodybuiding. I have 19 weeks for my big show, the Master Nationals in Pittsburgh, so I still will be putting in one cookie ;>) in my diet. I'm using the oatmeal raisin or craisin ones as they have a little more protein and the raisin are better from me then the chocolate chips! LOL! AsI get closer I will take it out but I till want to keep one of my fvorite meal replacements in my diet! ;>))! What do I eat? Well it's very simple I will have egg whites(6) and 2 rice cakes in the morning, I like my broccoli slaw meal I have mentioned here in my blog feash fruit like blue It changes one I get close, i may do a no card and do a high fat diet to change it up. it depends on how I'm progessing. Just a quick note, always take a good multi- vitamin to supplement your diet (of course try to get a MMM in one a day too) ;>)! Also extra selenium is good(250mcg) which promotes healthy antioxidants enzymes that protect against free radicals! I have been adding this every day this winter and I have had only one cold(knock on wood). Also extra D(2000 i.u.) it's found to help support breast and prostate health!!!, but also helps to prevent colds too! Tags: |

Okay these are called "Quick Kebabas"! A Great snack for kids too!!! 1/2 ounce cubed roasted deli turkey 1/2 ounce cubed cheddar cheese(can use low fat) 1/4 cup grapes 6 dried apricots
thread turkey, cheese, grapes and apricots on a wooden skewer! Easy as That!!! total calories 217 total fat 5g/ sat 3g( this may be lower using low fat cheese ) cholesterol 20mg sodium 247 mg (this may be lower using lower sodium turkey,cheese) carbs 36g fiber 5g protein 7g Tags: |

Here is a meal I love and can eat everyday. it's easy to put together and put in a tupperware to bring with you to work I use this when I am doing a low carb diet and little higher fat(using the fats for energy and burning) or you can substitute the nuts for rice if you do a low card diet 2 cus of packaged broccoli slaw(found in your bagged salad section of your grocer) awesome stuff! only 25 cal per cup 4 oz lean ground beef or chicken 1/3 cup cashew or walnuts or if not the nuts use 1/2 c brown rice put the broccoli slaw in a container or bowl and put it in the microwave for 2-3 min, add your cooked meat add your nuts or rice I use franks hot sauce to spice it up, you can use what you like reheat another minute to warm it all up!! That's it!! Carbs w rice = 40 with nuts =15 protein= 28 with chicken 32 with beef fat with nuts 12 without 4or5 total calories 380( add a pc of fruit if you like to your meal preferably a small apple or a 1/2 cup grapes) I like blueberries a good antioxidant food (if you are a guy I would double all the measurements) Tags: |

Monday evening went well at Club H fitness in NYC. I had a table set up for a demo for the members and the staff, who were really friendly! I had a good amount of people came by to try my cookies! It is a very nice club and I hope to sell them in their cafe. It's always a good time in NYC! Ok, I have a tip for you all that are stuck in an office chair all day long. Two simple exercises. The first is legs extensions, one leg at a time, holding 10 to 15 seconds and really squeeze!. Now this may sound funny but they work and nobody will know(unless you give a funny face) easy glute squeeze hold for 10 to 15 seconds and really squeeze tight!!! then you can do short little squeezes after these! and you can do them off and on all day long! ;>) Next time I will share an easy meal I usually eat everyday for lunch, and I never get tired of it. It goes good with a low carb diet. Tags: |

Well It's Friday but no rest for the weary!! I've been baking a lillte more then normal as I m getting ready for my first demo! i have done expos but not the intimacy of a private gym! Hope it goes well!! The facility is Club H Fitness in NYC! 423 W 55th St. If you live in the city, come on by and try a sample of my cookies! People always ask me if I eat my own wares!! And the answer is OF COURSE! I usually have my morsel around that 3:00 time. Now when I start my preparation for competing I do cut it out or I will have one on the weekend. And speaking of weekends everybody out there have a great one and don't forget to get your exercise in!! Hopefully if it's nice enough in the bad areas of the country get out and take that nice leisurely walk!! Or if not, do what one of my friends and I do, we go "Mall Walking". But don't stop in that store that is temping you, keep on walking, then go back for your purchases! ;>) Tags: |

I finally, with the help of my wonderful webmaster Dan Davis, changed up the look of my site. I'm excited to have this new blog here so I can keep you all up to date on my plans for the year.
